Safety policy

South East operates outdoor activity tours that mostly take part in a harsh but beautiful nature with unforeseeable weather. Our number one priority is the safety of our clients and guides and therefore we have built up a safety policy for both our clients and guides.

Change or cancellation of tours.

All guides from South East have experience and knolwledge of the tour they manage as well as a sertified First Aid licence. Our guides have the authority to change and/or cansel tours for safety reasons.  Our guides evaluate the weather forecast and conditions and assess the situation. They base their assessment on their knowlecge and experience of the area. A cancelcoselation or change can apply when the weather changes for the worse, if the weather forecast for the day is bad or if we have a natural situation that causes cancellation, for example if there is a chance of avalanche, unstable ice in the ice caves or a similar situation.

In case of cancellation, to ensure the safety of our clients and guides, the rules from South EastsTerms and conditions apply concerning refund.
